Minds N Motion Team
Jordan - Owner
Jordan has been the Owner of Minds N Motion since 2018. He works as a psychologist outside of owning the preschool and therefore brings a wealth of knowledge to the staff and children in our care. Jordan has made immense improvements since taking over the business. He grew up in at the center when his mom owned it as a child and has invested whole heartedly into making Minds N Motion a wonderful preschool!
Tara - Director
Tara has been the Director at Minds N Motion since 2017. She has two kids of her own and two other kids she is raising for a total of four. She was a preschool teacher and nanny before coming to Minds N Motion and loves being silly with the kids. She has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Developmental Disabilities. She takes being a Director seriously and is always trying to improve and provide the best environment for the children.
Amanda - Assistant Teacher
Amanda was a previous employee and returned in 2021. She has a nine year old son. Amanda has been working with kids for many years. She is a Teacher's Aid for the school district and works with us after school and on breaks. She is the calm in the chaos and always willing to jump in and help kiddos!
Jolene - Floater/Substitute
Jolene was a parent at Minds N Motion before she offered to work for us! We are so glad she did because she is a phenomenal addition to our team. She is a foster parent and parent to her own children is always willing to jump in and help where needed. Jolene always has a warm smile and a calm demeanor. She is also a substitue for WCSD as well as a Foster Mom.
Mireah - Floater/Substitute
Mireah is starting with Minds N Motion any day! She is a wonderful addition to Minds N Motion with her love for kids and her helping nature. Mireah is Mrs. Jolene's daughter!
Lorinda - Lead Teacher
Lorinda is the Lead Teacher in the Leaping Learners classroom. She has been at Minds N Motion since 2016. She has three older children of her own. She is a very creative teacher who helps out wherever and however she can to make sure that the day runs smooth and the children are learning. The kids love her fun ideas and Lorinda loves making the kids smile each day!
Maria - Assistant Teacher
Maria has been with Minds N Motion since September of 2022. Maria has a 2 year old son. She is extremely patient and calm with the children and enjoys getting on the floor and playing with them. Maria is bilingual!
Skyla - Assistant Teacher
Skyla has been with Minds N Motion since September of 2021. She is one of our grown up kiddos who now works with us and is also Miss Lorinda's daughter. She is very creative and a master at helping older kids with homework!
Monica - Lead Teacher
Monica has been with Minds N Motion since October of 2022. Monica has a 10 year old daughter who also loves coming to Minds N Motion. She has previous preschool experience and loves working with kids. The kids adore her and greet her with hugs everyday!
Brandi - Assistant Teacher
Brandi has been with Minds N Motion since 2018, but took a year off to take care of her baby. The kids absolutely adore her and she loves being with them each day!
